The Premium Solid Wood Plank Table Top is crafted in the USA from responsibly harvested European beechwood, combining solid wood construction with the durability required for high-traffic commercial use. Its 1 1/2" thick surface is available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and premium finishes, making it an excellent choice for steakhouses, rustic restaurants, and upscale hospitality venues. Each table top is constructed from solid wood staves precision-cut at our state-of-the-art sawmill and edge-glued with industrial-grade adhesives. The wood is kiln-dried to a controlled moisture content to help minimize warping, cupping, cracking, and seasonal movement under typical indoor conditions. A 5-stage commercial finishing process completes the table top, beginning with progressive sanding to 150-grit and application of a non-grain-raising stain, followed by a catalyzed polyurethane sealer, fine sanding, and a catalyzed polyurethane topcoat.
