An upscale food specialty market and longtime Pikesville staple, Gourmet Girls was established to meet the growing popularity of gourmet foods. The interior design is classy and elegant with fancy wall art and graceful chandeliers. Track lighting adds a modern effect which illuminates the lightly painted walls and hardwood floors resulting in a soft glow. The walls are adorned with modern art reflecting a soft, feminine touch. Large windows and sliding glass doors let in natural light and fresh flowers and plants add an intrinsic natural element. This creates a pleasant atmosphere that enhances the overall interior design.

The owners of The Gourmet Girls turned to us to help furnish their restaurant to satisfy their seating needs. They were looking for quality seating that would upgrade the look and feel of their eatery and find furniture that fits in with the artistic decor. They purchased plain back booths with a custom Architex Anna Morea Railroad pattern. The decorative, intricate pattern complements the venue’s elegant look. The booths' premium look also added sophistication and a touch of class to the interior design. Another added benefit is that the restaurant booths are durable and comfortable. They also come with stain resistant upholstery.

wood restaurant chairs and tables

For tables, Barabara chose reclaimed look laminate table tops with X prong metal table bases sold separately. The laminate table tops have an oak plank finish which looks slightly distressed. The tables have a vintage look which blends in well with the chic yet traditional decor and with some of the antique furniture cabinet and bookcase that give the eatery a more down home feel. The reclaimed look laminate table tops and slightly worn look makes the eatery feels less like a restaurant and creates a family atmosphere that is warm and inviting.

Additional seating in the restaurant is provided using the pre-existing wood X back chairs. The graceful chairs add to the overall chic look and the stylish design also blends in well with the overall upscale, artsy look. The chair’s finish also close matches the reclaimed look laminate table tops as well as the flooring and antique furniture. Affordable Seating sells very similar X back wood chairs that are also stackable. The lightweight and durable restaurant chairs are a popular choice to add a touch of class and elegance while still blending in with a modern or a traditional decor.
