In 2021, 30 years after Schlafly Beer became the original St. Louis craft brewery they opened their Highland location in the historic Highland Bank building that still includes the bank’s safe which is proudly and prominently featured behind the bar, becoming an example of how a historic building can be transformed into something new and innovative.

Designed with beer and the environment in mind, they now brew over 60 styles for distribution to their loyal fans around the US. The brewery's commitment to quality and sustainability ensures that this iconic establishment will remain a beloved fixture in the community for years to come.

With the environment and its impact on our world in mind the brewery uses 100% renewable energy to power its entire operation. Not only does it have 105 photovoltaic rooftop solar panels that produce 32,000+ kilowatt hours per year, but its commitment to environmental stewardship is clear in every decision it makes. Plus, it is a 5-star original member of the Green Dining Alliance. Whether it's buying from farmers they know by name or offering spent grains to livestock in the region, Schlafly is truly making a difference in the world.
