The Harp and Fiddle Updates its Bar Design with new Restaurant Seating

Making its grand entrance in the heart of Uptown Park Ridge, Illinois, The Harp and Fiddle brings an Irish flair and a hospitable ambience with a combination of American and Irish comfort food, craft beer, swanky patio and live music performances. Located where Medicine Shoppe pharmacy once stood, restaurateur Declan Stapleton jumped at the business opportunity to expand his pub – a venture that was unthinkable just a few years ago due to environmental problems with the building itself on top of not receiving liquor license at the time. Stapleton and his business partner Ed Berry has tirelessly worked hard to secure their Uptown eatery. Through their sweat, blood, and tears, their perseverance has finally paid off on May 28, 2016. They are now able to provide their guests with the nightlife experience they wanted and continue to operate till 2 am on the weekends.

The Harp and Fiddle is a modern bar with a fusion of traditional and contemporary décor, as described by Stapleton. Featuring both American and Irish favorites, the menu is largely American fare. Advertised inside of the pub, pints of Guinness is a reproduction of the Guinness Brewery gate in Dublin, according to Stapleton. With a wide range of craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails named after popular Irish songs to choose from, The Harp is the perfect destination for people looking to unwind after a long tiresome week. Posters of famous Irish bands, charcoal drawings of Irish rugby player Brain O’Driscoll, and pictures of martial artist Connor McGregor are posted on the walls. Being a Dublin native himself, Stapleton states that there is a sense of Iris semblance that the bar designs emanates.

As people continue to flock to The Harp to grab a bite and some drinks, Stapleton and Berry needed new restaurant seating that would not only highlight their pub décor but also withstand heavy use for long periods of time.
