The interior has a fun, Caribbean flair with tropical pictures on the walls and frosted windows to let in natural light. The decor has a light airy feel with light gray and off-white walls. Light colored floors and tables add to the exotic, relaxing motif. The restaurant also has a bar with purple colored walls since this is the signature color of nearby Louisiana State University, referred to by the locals as LSU. A figure of a tiger, LSU’s mascot, also stands proudly on a shelf behind the bar. There is also a widescreen television for guests to enjoy the games.
The owner of Kajun Twist ordered tables, restaurant bar stools and chairs from us when he moved the restaurant to its new location. For seating, Anthony chose metal ladder back chairs with clear coat finish and solid wood seats in natural finish. The clear coat frames blend in well with the Caribbean look adding to the restaurant’s tropical image and the solid wood seats in natural finish have a rustic quality that goes well with the tables and country look. The natural finish brings out the wood’s true beauty. Ladder back metal chairs are very popular with all kinds of venues due to their versatility and charm and the metal ladder back chairs have a classic look that flows perfectly with the interior design.
When it came to choosing bar seating, Anthony chose metal ladder back bar stools also in clear coat finish and solid wood seats in natural finish. The ladder back bar stools match the chairs, giving the Kajun Twist a complete look. The clear coat finish gives this popular bar stool a stylish look and the frame’s glossy look upgrades the bar's image. The bar stools look great sitting next to the timber-wood bar counter which also has a natural finish.
For tables he chose outdoor resin tables with reclaimed look in multiple colors. The reclaimed look fits in well with the country atmosphere and has a rustic quality. The multicolor wood surface also adds to the tropical look and feel of the restaurant’s motif. Resin table tops are a wise choice since they are extremely durable and scratch and stain resistant. They have the advantage of looking like real wood and are very easy to clean and sanitize.
The restaurant also has plain back restaurant booths in red vinyl. Booths are a great way to provide comfortable seating and intimacy for your guests. The booths are situated along the walls which helps save floor space. While not provided by us we also have similar plain back custom restaurant booths that are made in America and can be customized to every interior’s needs. There are many ways to customize your booth and they can be made in any shape or size with any material. We also have a large selection of booth tables to go with the booths and help you create a cohesive interior.
