Wing Dingers is a family restaurant with two locations just east of Dallas Texas. They have a restaurant in Quitman, and recently opened a second location in Minneola not too far outside of Dallas. They serve American fare which includes burgers, pizza, chicken tenders, fajitas, steak and of course chicken wings. The restaurant is very popular with locals and their location off the main highway also draws many travelers who appreciate the good food and the spacious dining areas. Wing Dingers has a large dining room with a mix of commercial chairs, and booths and bar height seating. It also has a separate dining area in the back with typical restaurant seating and bars stools. Patio seating is also available when weather permits.
When the time came to open their new location in Minneola, the owner of Wing Dingers turned to us to help furnish his new restaurant. He bought everything he needed from chairs, bar stools and dining booths to patio furniture. For this large location he went with a few different models of popular chairs such as the classic ladder back and some modern favorites such as the industrial style metal chair.
The restaurant has an industrial style interior design with vaulted ceilings and acid washed concrete floors. The lighting is also industrial style with hanging incandescent lights and modern nebula-like light fixtures. The walls are painted in soft earth tones, giving it a rustic feel and large, tall windows make good use of natural light. The patio also incorporates an industrial them with concrete floors and minimalist decor juxtaposed to the building’s exterior which has large, oversized windows and a natural wood varnish finish. The patio fits in perfectly with the landscape and the ranch house style building, an architectural style which is popular in Texas and the southwest.
To provide guests who are looking for a bit more privacy with a comfortable seating option, Wing Dings has additional plain back restaurant booths in black vinyl placed along the wall. The 42” tall booths are also a great way to make maximum use of the floor space and upgrade the look and feel of the venue to a more established restaurant that invites guests to stay and enjoy their meal as opposed to a quick service restaurant serving fast-food burgers
For seating in the main dining room metal ladder back chairs with solid wood seats were matched with plain back booths and laminate tables. The traditional
metal ladder back chair is one of the most popular restaurant chairs with a classic look that goes well with any interior and other furniture. Matching
swivel ladder back metal bar stools were added at the counter and the 360 degrees swivel is a nice fun addition to the already comfortable stools. For some variation in the design and to help in tying the patio furniture with the interior, leading to the patio, bistro style metal chairs and bar stools in clear finish were added together with matching restaurant tables.
In the patio, grey finish aluminum chairs and bar stools with plastic teak were matched with aluminum and plastic teak table tops. This combination of outdoor tables and chairs are the perfect choice for keeping with the industrial theme and go perfectly with the rustic styled building and the surrounding woods. The plastic teak slats on the tables and chairs help to complete the location’s look and give their guests a comfortable seating option to enjoy the outdoors.
